About the Walk-in Health Centre

What do think of our Service? We currently have a feedback process which uses tokens which you drop into the box before you leave (rating your experience 0-10, ten being the highest) and an online feedback platform to make it easy to tell us how we can make the Service even better for you.

In August, feedback reported by 60 % of all patients seen provided us with feedback and identified need for more children's activities in waiting area , so we now provide coloring books and crayons which are available at reception. You also asked for more appointments. We implemented a text reminder service, which made available an average of 80 more appointments.

Reading Walk-in Health Centre is committed to giving you high quality healthcare. We offer a range of health services and information as well as advice and treatment for a range of illnesses and minor injuries, with or without an appointment.

The Centre is in addition to, and works alongside and complements, other GP surgeries in the area and does not replace their service. Patients can therefore use the Centre as well as the services of their own GP.

The Centre is run by Assura Reading LLP, which is part of the Virgin Care family.

Reading Walk-in Health Centre is now a training practice. On certain occasions there may be medical students present during consultations, please be assured that this will only happen with patient consent.The Centre is in addition to, and works alongside and complements, other GP surgeries in the area and does not replace their service.
